We were up early and got everything packed and then went in for breakfast. It was fantastic to have a home cooked meal after 10 days of PB & J. The host, Jo even remembered that Aiden had said he liked pancakes with smarties so that is what she served him.
Off to the airport around ten to return the car and get through security. Our plane was running a little late but we made up time in the air and landed almost on time. Frank and Sylvia were there waiting for us. It was great to see friendly faces in the crowd as we came down the escalator. We gathered our luggage and headed for home. Yes, it felt very much like we were coming home after a holiday and it felt wonderful to know what was waiting for us in Halls Gap. We arrived about 10:30 pm and found that Frank and Sylvia had already moved our boxes in from their shed and that Roz had delivered some groceries for us. It was great to be home!
